I am a fireman with Rosman
Fire Rescue and I love being able to go to the aid of someone when
they are in need of help.
Most people don't understand why we live for the day to run into a burning
building when everybody else is running out, or get up at 4:00 am to help
somebody that I have never met before. I can't get enough of the feeling
that I might be able to do something for someone in need of help.
There is just something about flashing strobe lights, the sounds of sirens,
the smell of smoke, and the tension of trouble in the air that makes my
adrenaline pump.
There is no better feeling than to know you did all you
could to help a person in need and if you don't believe me try it just
once and you will understand.
"Rescue any who need to be saved, as you would rescue
someone from a fire. Then with fear in your own hearts, have mercy on
everyone who needs it..."
